Installation and Programming
Cloudpoint Hospitality will manage your project from start to finish, ensuring complete satisfaction. We start with our Project Manager assigning one of our Certified Implementation Specialists to your account, to work with the key person in your business, by planning and following all the proper steps that ensures your POS implementation is successful.
To insure continued reliable operation of your system, an amount of planning should be performed. This preparation includes electrical wiring, hardware placement and care, implementation schedule, installation of any applicable 3rd party items, network cabling, and security. Additional consultation on your initial product selection, and possible alternatives, is also considered.
One of our technicians will perform a walkthrough of your business to ensure you have all the proper network cabling and electric in place. We also provide documentation for, and consultation with, your 3rd party contractors, to help achieve these network and electrical requirements.
Hardware Staging and Setup
Order, process, receive, unbox, build, configure, connect and test all hardware components. Setup and programming of wireless access points can also be included, when applicable.
Gather data and complete worksheets required for system’s item files. This procedure and its importance cannot be emphasized too strongly. The only way to receive accurate data from a computer system is to provide it with accurate data. As data is gathered, it will be transmitted to file maintenance worksheets to begin building master files.
After all data is received, Cloudpoint Hospitality will design, develop and implement all data received from your key person.
Database and System Review
Once all your information is entered into the POS, we will review the system with you from top to bottom to ensure all aspects of the system are laid out to your expectations.
When the database is complete, we will return to train all key personnel on all aspects of the system. Once the key staff is trained, Cloudpoint Hospitality will assist you in training the remainder of your staff based on their respective positions.
Now that the system is in place, you are ready to open the doors. Your first day with your new POS system is a very important one, which is why we will be with you every step of the way to ensure all employees are comfortable with your new system. Cloudpoint Hospitality will also assist in Post Live support if desired.
Delivery and Site Installation of all equipment
Once all cabling and electric has been put in place, Cloudpoint Hospitality will install the POS system. Installation also includes final setup of all firewalls connected to your internet provider, and anti-virus and any disaster recovery software that applies to your purchase.
Extended Support Contracts
Cloudpoint Hospitality offers customized extended support contracts for all point-of-sale platforms we sell. Both hardware and software coverage is available 24/7 including all holidays. Contracts also include on-site labor eliminating your staff from becoming the POS technician.
